According to statistics, FIFA has decided to give $ 3.8 million (Rs 256 crore) to the winning team this year. The runner-up team will get $ 2.8 million (Rs 189 crore), while the third-placed team will get $ 2.4 million (Rs 162 crore) prize. Not only this, the fourth-level team will get $ 2.2 million (Rs 148 crore). Apart from this, the team that has reached the quarter-finals will get $ 16 million and the teams reaching the pre-quarter finals will get $ 12 million. A total of 80-80 million dollars (54 million rupees) prize money will be given to 16 teams out of the group stage. 32 teams are participating in the FIFA World Cup this time. These teams have been divided into eight groups of four teams. Two teams from each group will enter the knockout round. FIFA is delivering 79.1 million dollars as prize and promotion money this year. This amount is 21.5 million more than the previous World Cup in 2014 in Brazil. Out of $ 791 million, 40 million dollars will be distributed among the teams, while the remaining $ 391 million organizers, those clubs whose players are participating in the World Cup and will be distributed to each participating team in the World Cup. Each of the 32 teams participating in the World Cup will earn $ 1.5 million.
